Maarif School NJ hosted its annual STEAM Day that consisted of many hands-on activities in an exploratory learning environment. STEAM is an educational approach that is used around the world to teach academic life skills that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. As the students journeyed through the various learning booths, they became innovators, educators, leaders and learners of the 21st century. They were able to take risks, problem-solve, collaborate and work through the challenges presented to them thru the fun-based STEAM activities. They were able to engage with several animals during the finale animal show which brought joy to everyone.
With special thanks to Sr. Busra and Sr. Hager for leading the effort for a successful STEAM day.
