A New Maarif School opened in Afghanistan


A new one has been added to Afghan-Turkish Maarif Schools in the capital Kabul.

The opening ceremony of Şehr-i Nev Primary School, the second Maarif Schools of the city, was held with the participation of Turkey’s Ambassador to Kabul Oguzhan Ertuğrul, officials from TIKA and Yunus Emre Institute.

After the ribbon cutting, officials conducted examinations at the Afghan-Turkish Maarif Schools primary school building. The modernly built elementary school will provide education to 280 students from kindergarten to sixth grade. Turkish, English, Persian and Pashtu languages will be taught to students by Turkish and Afghan teachers.
